Job Description – MEP DEWA Approved Engineer

Position: MEP Engineer – DEWA Approved

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit MEP design drawings and documents to DEWA in full compliance with DEWA regulations, standards, and guidelines.

• Act as the DEWA Design Engineer, responsible for all DEWA-related approvals including LV, HV, water, and other MEP services as applicable.

• Ensure complete coordination of electrical, water, and related MEP systems with architectural, structural, and authority requirements.

• Liaise directly with DEWA officials leads, and inspectors for design approval, NOC, inspections, testing, and final connections.

• Ensure all MEP designs, calculations, load schedules, and technical submissions strictly comply with the latest DEWA codes and circulars.

• Support site execution by resolving DEWA-related technical issues, clarifications, and inspection comments until final approval and energization.

• Coordinate with consultants, project teams, and contractors to ensure smooth and timely DEWA approvals and project handover.

• Maintain proper documentation, submission records, approvals, and correspondence related to DEWA processes.

• Stay updated with latest DEWA regulations, amendments, and authority requirements and implement them across projects.

Key Requirements

• Must be a DEWA Approved Design Engineer.

• Strong knowledge of DEWA rules, standards, procedures, and submission portals.

• Proven experience handling end-to-end DEWA approvals.

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
