Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Review tenant and landlord MEP design submissions, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and low-current systems.

Ensure MEP designs comply with local codes, mall standards, and approved tenant design criteria.

Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal RDD team members to resolve design and technical issues.

Support site activities during construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor MEP works progress, quality, and compliance.

Prepare and follow up on snag lists, ensuring timely closure prior to store opening.

Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and as-built documentation.

Assist in resolving on-site technical challenges to avoid delays to fit-out completion.

Support continuous improvement of MEP standards, guidelines, and delivery processes across retail assets.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Previous Experience:

  • 1 4 years of experience in MEP engineering, preferably within retail, commercial, or mixed-use developments.

- Special requirements:

  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and low-current systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with MEP design and coordination tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying local codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Hands-on exposure to site coordination, testing, commissioning, and defect resolution for MEP systems.
