Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate MEP installation works (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical, and ELV) on-site.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project specifications.
Conduct daily site inspections and ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
Coordinate between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to resolve clashes and integration issues.
Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors on technical matters, RFIs, and approvals.
Monitor project progress, prepare weekly reports, and flag delays or risks.
Ensure compliance with Oman building codes, DIAM, Haya, OETC/Muscat Electricity standards, and civil defence requirements.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Maintain as-built documentation and snag lists through to project closeout.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 3 5 years of MEP site engineering experience in a GCC contracting environment.
Strong technical knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
Ability to read and interpret MEP shop drawings and specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit MEP knowledge is a plus.
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is an advantage.
