Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Estimation & Costing

  • Review tender drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
  • Perform quantity take-offs for HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire-fighting & ELV systems.
  • Prepare cost breakdowns, BOQs, material take-off lists and man-hour estimation.
  • Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors; evaluate technically & commercially.
  • Prepare accurate tender pricing sheets and cost summaries.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with suppliers, procurement team, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client clarification meetings when required.
  • Interface with Engineering and Projects teams for technical clarifications and variations.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare tender documentation including technical & commercial proposals.
  • Maintain database for cost benchmarks, supplier records, and tender logs.
  • Submit tenders on time with complete supporting documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as an MEP Estimator in construction or engineering projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire-fighting, and ELV systems.
  • Excellent quantity take-off, cost estimation, and BOQ preparation skills.
  • Proficient in estimation software and MS Office tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
