Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all hard services, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire life safety systems, lifts and escalators, BMS, external lighting, drainage, and utility networks.
- Implement and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure asset reliability and longevity.
- Manage technical infrastructure in external areas, including fa ades, walkways, shading structures, and built elements.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, local authority regulations, fire codes, and health and safety standards.
- Coordinate emergency response for technical failures and critical system breakdowns.
- Manage hard services contractors, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, approved method statements, and safety requirements.
- Prepare and manage hard services OPEX and CAPEX budgets, controlling costs without compromising system performance.
- Maintain asset registers, maintenance records, certifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Provide technical support during tenant fit-outs, refurbishments, and system upgrades.
- Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in hard facilities management, preferably within retail, mixed-use, or outdoor commercial developments.
- Strong working knowledge of MEP systems and fire life safety systems.
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven contractor and asset management experience.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards.
- Good communication, planning, and reporting skills.
Desired Candidate Profile
