Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager with 10 15 years of construction experience to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) department for projects in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will be responsible for MEP design coordination, installation supervision, quality control, and timely execution, ensuring projects meet client requirements, regulatory standards, and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

• Oversee all MEP activities from design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and Abu Dhabi authority requirements

• Monitor and manage MEP subcontractors, vendors, and site teams

• Ensure timely completion of MEP works in alignment with project schedules

Design & Coordination

• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and civil teams for seamless integration

• Review MEP design drawings, shop drawings, and submittals

• Resolve design conflicts and technical issues in collaboration with consultants and clients

• Ensure compliance with LEED, Estidama, and UAE codes

Quality Assurance & Control

• Implement QA/QC plans for MEP works

• Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning supervision

• Ensure as-built documentation and O&M manuals are accurate and complete

• Monitor material quality and verify compliance with specifications

Budget & Resource Management

• Monitor MEP budgets, cost control, and procurement schedules

• Optimize resources, manpower, and equipment for efficient execution

• Support variation order evaluations and cost analysis

HSE & Compliance

• Enforce HSE policies and safety regulations for MEP works

• Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks

• Ensure all MEP activities comply with local authorities and ISO standards

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare progress reports, KPI dashboards, and site reports for senior management

• Maintain records of inspections, approvals, and authority submissions

• Support project handover with complete documentation and as-built drawings

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Engineering

Experience

• 10 15 years of MEP construction experience

• Minimum 7 10 years of experience in UAE / Abu Dhabi projects

• Proven experience in high-rise, commercial, residential, infrastructure, or mixed-use projects

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems: HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, electrical, and BMS

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office, and project management software

• Understanding of Abu Dhabi authority requirements, Estidama, and LEED standards

• Ability to manage complex MEP coordination, installation, and commissioning
