Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage MEP works across all UG projects from kickoff to handover.
Develop project execution plans, manpower loading, and material delivery schedules.
Coordinate closely with Civil, Architecture, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, and Procurement teams.
Participate in client, consultant, and subcontractor meetings.
Review mechanical, electrical & plumbing drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
Resolve technical issues, design discrepancies, and site conflicts.
Approve method statements, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
Ensure full compliance with GMP, FDA, WHO, NFPA, IEC, ASHRAE, SMACNA as required.
Supervise site teams (site engineers, supervisors, foremen).
Monitor progress and ensure timely installation of MEP systems including:
HVAC
Firefighting
Fire alarm
Electrical power & lighting
Low current systems
Compressed air
Plumbing & drainage
Steam & process utilities
Ensure high-quality workmanship and approved materials.
Prepare MEP cost estimates and budgets with the cost control team.
Approve MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractor offers.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
Work closely with QA/QC to ensure testing & commissioning is performed correctly.
Ensure installations follow shop drawings, specs, and pharma industry standards.
Review and approve inspection requests (IRs), method statements, and checklists.
Lead MEP engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
Conduct weekly coordination and progress meetings.
Evaluate team performance and identify training needs.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
PMP certification is an advantage.
10 15 years of experience in MEP contracting.
Minimum 5 years as MEP Manager.
Strong background in pharma, industrial, food factories, or cleanroom facilities.
Strong knowledge of NFPA, ASHRAE, IEC, SMACNA, and GMP guidelines.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and planning abilities.
Ability to manage multiple fast-track projects.
