Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for multiple high-end construction and renovation projects.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems with overall project designs.
Develop, review, and approve MEP design documents, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources for MEP works, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety of MEP installations.
Identify and resolve technical issues, discrepancies, or conflicts related to MEP systems during all project phases.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of MEP engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Ensure adherence to all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in MEP design and execution.
Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and updates to senior management and clients.
Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate and select MEP materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in MEP management within the construction or contracting industry.
Demonstrated expertise in overseeing large-scale, high-end finishing projects involving complex MEP systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience mentoring engineers and technical staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of local and international MEP codes, standards, and best practices.
Proficiency in project management tools and MEP design software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment with occasional site visits.
Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
