MEP Manager - Waterway Projects, Egypt

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MEP Manager to oversee all electromechanical construction and maintenance activities for Waterway s projects in Egypt. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless execution of MEP systems, aligning with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) across all Waterway projects.
  • Manage and coordinate MEP subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to Egyptian building codes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to integrate MEP systems into overall project designs.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of MEP systems to guarantee long-term functionality and efficiency.
  • Resolve technical issues and provide innovative solutions to maintain project momentum.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards throughout all project phases.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in MEP management, preferably in large-scale construction projects in Egypt or the Middle East.
  • In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Proven track record of managing electromechanical construction and maintenance activities.
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian construction regulations and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Engineering and project management software (e.g., Revit, Bim, Primavera, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
