Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with architects and other engineers to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into building designs.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring quality control and adherence to project timelines.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and schedules to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project execution.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Implement energy-efficient practices and sustainable technologies in MEP design and installation.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members and resolve complex engineering challenges.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in MEP technologies to optimize project outcomes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP management within construction or engineering sectors.
  • Professional certifications such as LEED AP, PMP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale MEP projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and MEP design software.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a diverse team of engineers and technicians.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and adapt to various work environments.
