Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The role requires minimum 10 years of experience, out of which minimum 5 years in Gulf region in MEP project planning and scheduling. The successful candidate will develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure on-time and within-budget project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software
- Monitor project progress and address potential delays or issues
- Provide regular updates on project status to project managers and senior management
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans
- Align project schedules with budgets and resource availability
- Identify and mitigate schedule risks
- Establish and enforce project control procedures
- Provide mentoring to junior planning engineers and project team members
- Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes
- Contribute insights on project planning and scheduling in review meetings
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of project planning and scheduling experience with successful project delivery
- Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role in GCC.
- Proficiency in project management software, like Primavera P6
- Knowledge of MEP project management methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
