Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the sourcing and procurement of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) equipment and materials, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project specifications.
  • Negotiate contracts with MEP vendors and suppliers, securing favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to maximize project profitability.
  • Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from RFQ (Request for Quotation) issuance to purchase order creation and delivery tracking, optimizing efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate potential MEP suppliers, assess their capabilities, and maintain a qualified vendor database.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or a related discipline is required.
  • Possession of professional certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent is highly advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in MEP procurement within the construction or related industry is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and procuring a wide range of MEP equipment and materials, including HVAC systems, electrical components, and plumbing fixtures.
