MEP Site Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee MEP engineering activities at project sites, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
• Prepare, review, and update technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for MEP systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Assist in the preparation of material submittals, method statements, and technical reports.br>Support the procurement process by preparing material take-offs and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and updates on site activities.br>Ensure all MEP installations adhere to local codes, standards, and client specifications.br>Identify and report any discrepancies or potential risks in design or execution to the project management team.
• Assist in the testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems upon project completion.

• Bachelor s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in MEP site engineering or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
• Proven ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, installation practices, and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and site management procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Willingness to work full-time and on-site as required by project demands.
