Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To lead on-site execution of MEP systems by managing trade teams (electricians, plumbers, and HVAC technicians), ensuring work efficiency, quality control, and strict adherence to project timelines.
Site Coordination & Supervision: Plan and organize daily work assignments for electricians and plumbers to ensure optimal use of manpower.
Plan Implementation: Interpret and implement mechanical, electrical, and plumbing shop drawings on-site, ensuring installations match approved designs.
Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary site contact for clients, architects, and engineers to provide progress updates and resolve technical queries.
Quality & Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of workmanship at key milestones to identify and fix errors before concealment.
Project Efficiency: Monitor site progress against the master schedule and take corrective actions to manage work pressure and avoid delays.
Safety Management: Enforce site HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) rules, ensuring all technicians use proper PPE and follow safe working practices.
Documentation: Maintain daily site diaries, record material usage, and prepare progress reports for management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Technical Expertise: Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing layouts, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
Leadership: Proven ability to guide staff, manage diverse teams, and maintain a productive work environment under pressure.
Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve on-site technical clashes between different MEP services in real-time.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical clients.
Education: A diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent vocational training with 3–5 years of site experience in UAE preferred.
