Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a qualified MEP Supervisor with proven experience in Facilities Management to supervise and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) operations. The role involves overseeing maintenance activities, ensuring system reliability, compliance with safety standards, and effective coordination of technicians and vendors to deliver high-quality FM services. The responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Supervise day-to-day MEP operations, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.
Plan, monitor, and execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and corrective maintenance activities as per schedule and SLA.
Lead and supervise MEP technicians and outsourced contractors on-site, ensuring productivity and quality workmanship.
Coordinate with Facility Manager and other stakeholders to prioritize tasks and resolve technical issues.
Ensure all MEP systems operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with statutory and client requirements.
Conduct routine site inspections, identify defects, and ensure timely rectification.
Review and update maintenance checklists, job cards, method statements, and risk assessments.
Monitor breakdown calls, emergency situations, and ensure rapid response and resolution.
Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts usage.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety procedures, and local regulations at all times.
Support audits, inspections, snag-list closures, and handover activities.
Coordinate with vendors for specialized maintenance works, testing, and commissioning.
Assist in energy monitoring, efficiency initiatives, and cost-control measures.
Report daily/weekly operational updates to the Facility Manager.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
3–5 years of hands-on experience as an MEP Supervisor within Facilities Management or building maintenance.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and common building services.
Experience supervising technicians and managing FM service delivery.
Familiarity with CAFM systems, PPM schedules, and maintenance documentation.
Good understanding of HSE standards and safety compliance.
Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multi-disciplinary tasks.
