Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the facility.
  • Plan, schedule, and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimization measures to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Respond to emergencies, breakdowns, and system failures to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of MEP activities.
  • Support project works including fit-outs, refurbishments, and system upgrades.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure timely procurement of materials.
  • Train, guide, and supervise technicians to ensure high-quality performance

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP systems within facility management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire fighting, and BMS systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and facility management systems (e.g., CAFM, CMMS).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of AutoCAD. • Certification in health and safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) is an advantage.
