Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a proactive and technically strong MEP Engineer to bridge the gap between design, engineering, and on-site execution. This role is critical in ensuring that all technical aspects of projects are properly coordinated, optimized, and implemented with precision.

The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in shop drawings, technical coordination, material specifications, and problem-solving across civil, architectural, and MEP disciplines.


  • Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings across civil, architectural, and MEP works

  • Analyze project drawings and specifications to ensure technical accuracy and buildability

  • Coordinate with consultants, designers, and site teams to resolve technical issues

  • Support project execution by providing practical and cost-effective technical solutions

  • Review material submittals and ensure compliance with project specifications

  • Assist in value engineering and optimization of designs

  • Ensure alignment between design intent and actual site implementation

  • Conduct site visits to verify technical compliance and resolve ongoing issues

  • Maintain organized technical documentation and drawing logs

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field

  • Minimum 4–7 years of experience in technical engineering or fit-out projects in the UAE

  • Strong experience in shop drawings and technical coordination

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a strong advantage)

  • Solid understanding of MEP coordination and detailing

  • Familiarity with UAE authority requirements and approval processes

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fast-paced commercial projects (F&B, retail, or production facilities)

  • Knowledge of materials, finishes, and construction methods

  • Experience working with integrated teams (design + execution + procurement)
