Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Technician with a minimum of 2 years experience in Facility Management or Maintenance, preferably with prior exposure to GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems within our facilities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in commercial/residential facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC, electrical wiring, plumbing fixtures, pumps, and related equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations specific to the GCC region.
  • Collaborate with facility management and maintenance teams to schedule and execute preventive maintenance plans.
  • Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance or repair work.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials required for MEP maintenance activities.
  • Assist in the commissioning and testing of newly installed MEP systems.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and other team members.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience as an MEP Technician in Facility Management or Maintenance roles.
  • Prior work experience in GCC countries is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, fire fighting, and related building services.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements in the GCC region.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant technical diploma or certification in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing fields is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls when necessary.
