Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Product Placement & Display: Ensure the proper placement and visibility of FMCG products on store shelves, in line with company guidelines and marketing strategies. Implement planograms and ensure that products are arranged to maximize consumer attention and sales.

  2. Stock Management: Monitor stock levels to ensure that products are available for customers and stock-outs are minimized. Work with retailers to replenish stocks based on demand and sales projections.

  3. Retailer Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with store managers, stockists, and other retail partners. Address any issues related to product placement, inventory, or sales execution to ensure smooth operations.

  4. Sales Support: Support sales representatives by ensuring the proper execution of promotions, discounts, and marketing campaigns in retail stores. Ensure promotional displays are set up and executed according to plan.

  5. Market Intelligence: Gather feedback on competitor activity, market trends, and consumer preferences. Share insights with the sales and marketing teams to help improve product offerings, pricing, and promotion strategies.

  6. Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on stock levels, display conditions, and sales performance. Provide feedback to management regarding store-level execution, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities.

  7. Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products and services to effectively communicate with customers and retailers. Provide guidance to retail staff on product benefits, promotions, and features.

  8. Promotional Activities & Campaigns: Assist with the execution of brand and product-specific promotional activities, ensuring they are visible and well-communicated in-store. Monitor the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and suggest improvements based on market feedback.

  9. • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and government regulations on product presentation, packaging, and labelling. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards while performing in-store duties.
