We are partnering with a highly successful and established retail brand to appoint a Merchandising Director. This is a key leadership position with responsibility for shaping the merchandising strategy and driving commercial performance across a diverse product portfolio.

The Opportunity

The Merchandising Director will play a pivotal role in delivering sustainable growth, ensuring that product ranges are optimised to meet customer demand while maximising profitability. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, this individual will provide the vision, structure, and commercial insight required to strengthen the brand s market position and support its ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the merchandising strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Oversee range planning, trading, and inventory management to deliver against financial and operational KPIs.
• Provide strategic leadership across merchandising teams, building capability and ensuring best practice in planning, forecasting, and analysis.
• Partner with Buying, Design, Marketing, and Supply Chain to create a compelling product offer and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Deliver robust trading performance through effective decision-making and commercial insight.
• Influence at executive level, contributing to the broader strategic direction of the business.

• Proven ability to deliver commercial success through effective merchandising strategy and execution.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
