Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute localized merchandising strategies for the Mandarin-speaking market, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and brand identity.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and consumer behavior within the Mandarin-speaking demographic to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization and promotional campaigns.
  • Manage and optimize product placement, visual merchandising, and in-store displays to enhance the shopping experience for Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and e-commerce teams to develop and implement Mandarin-specific marketing campaigns and online merchandising initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in merchandising

  • Proven experience in developing and executing merchandising strategies for the Chinese or Mandarin-speaking market.

  • Native or fluent proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin to deal with imports , team located in HKG and China , sourcing knowledge , handing import orders , manufacturers in China on costing , negotiations , may be travel to China when needed , draw up spreadsheets weekly for updates and assist the CEO in daily emails.

  • Working days/week. : 5 days

  • Availability to join. : 30 days
