Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of merchandisers across designated stores and regions.
- Ensure planogram compliance, product availability, and proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Execute in-store visibility plans including POSM deployment, display setups, and promotional campaigns.
- Train and coach merchandisers on merchandising standards, display execution, and retail behavior.
- Monitor competitor activity and share relevant market intelligence with the sales and trade marketing teams.
- Ensure execution of pricing, signage, and promotional mechanics in alignment with commercial plans.
- Conduct regular market visits to audit merchandising quality and compliance across stores.
- Coordinate with sales and warehouse teams to resolve out-of-stock issues and manage replenishment.Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 5 years in merchandising or retail supervision, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
- Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, merchandising apps/tools, and reporting platforms.
- Address and resolve gaps in merchandising execution or stock availability in collaboration with sales and supply chain.
- Resolve conflicts or underperformance within the merchandiser team and take corrective actions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to display space, shelf share, or promotional activities in retail outlets.
- Work with external agencies to solve manpower shortages or training gaps.
- Ensure 100% execution of merchandising standards and planogram implementation across all accounts.
- Drive merchandising team KPIs: coverage, availability, share of shelf, and visibility.
- Improve customer and shopper satisfaction by maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked shelves.
- Deliver monthly reports on merchandising performance, including photo documentation and in-store feedback.
- Optimize the use of POS materials and ensure they are updated, effective, and compliant.
- Support sales growth through improved product visibility and planogram integrity.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- 5 years in merchandising or retail supervision, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.

- Basic knowledge of Excel, merchandising apps/tools, and reporting platforms.
Work Conditions:
Working Hours: 6 days/week, with flexibility for early market visits and occasional weekends
Location: Field-based with travel to retail outlets and key accounts
Travel Requirements: High up to 80% field travel
Work Environment: Retail outlets, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and modern trade channels
