Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth reviews during merchant onboarding to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor transaction trends, risk indicators, and merchant performance to identify potential issues.
  • Manage account suspensions, closures, and settlements when necessary.
  • Respond promptly to merchant risk escalations, compliance concerns, and fraud cases.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Analyze risk metrics and transaction data, generating actionable reports.
  • Improve risk detection models and develop strategies for fraud prevention.
  • Enhance risk monitoring tools and streamline processes for efficiency.
  • Identify workflow gaps and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
  • Document policies and deliver training sessions for internal teams.
  • Handle high-risk merchants with tailored strategies and decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve complex risk scenarios.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in payments, PSPs, or Acquirers.
  • Proven expertise in risk management, compliance, and fraud prevention.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in the financial sector (banks, fintech, or PSPs) with focus on merchant account monitoring and escalation management.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally when required.
