Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day fabrication and installation of metal works on-site and in the workshop, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of metal fabricators, welders, installers, and helpers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance/training.
  • Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and design specifications to plan and execute metal fabrication processes (e.g., cutting, bending, welding, polishing).
  • Coordinate with other trades (e.g., civil, joinery, electrical, MEP) to ensure seamless integration of metal works into the overall fit-out project.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, material usage, and team attendance.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems during fabrication or installation and propose efficient solutions.
  • Collaborate with designers and clients to achieve high-quality aesthetic and functional metal finishes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fabrication Technology, Welding, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum 58 years of experience in metal fabrication and installation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

Proven experience in interior fit-out projects (commercial offices, retail stores, hospitality, residential luxury fit-outs) is highly desirable.
