Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct metallurgical testing including microstructure analysis, tensile testing, hardness testing, chemical analysis, and metallographic evaluations.
Monitor and control metallurgical parameters in ductile iron pipe production.
Prepare and maintain lab reports, test certificates, and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with ISO, EN, AWWA, and other relevant standards.
Investigate metallurgical failures, defects, and process deviations.
Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure process stability.
Maintain calibration and accuracy of lab equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in metallurgical processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Strong knowledge of ductile iron metallurgy, casting processes, and heat treatment.
Hands-on experience with metallurgical lab equipment and testing methods.
Understanding of quality systems and standards.
Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
Good communication and reporting abilities.
