Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Methods and industrialization:
- Define and optimize manufacturing and machining processes
- Prepare manufacturing and quality control documentation
- Choosing the means of production, tools and assemblies
- Participating in the industrialization of new products
Mechanical engineering:
- Analyze the plans and specifications
- Designing or adapting tooling, fixtures and jigs
- Use CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor, etc.)
Machining:
- Define machining strategies (turning, milling, CNC)
- Optimize cutting parameters
- Improve cycle times and part quality
Technical support for workshops
Machine programming:
- Programming CNC machine tools (CITIZEN, ...)
- Testing, validating and fine-tuning the programs in the workshop
- Train and assist the operators if necessary
Continuous improvement:
- Implement Lean / continuous improvement actions
- Analyze non-conformities and propose corrective actions
Technical skills:
- Mechanical engineering and blueprint reading
- Machining processes (turning, milling, CNC)
- Machine tool programming
- CAO / FAO
- Industrial methods and industrialization
- Knowledge of materials and treatments
Transferable skills:
- Problem analysis and resolution
- Rigour and organisation
- Teamwork and communication
- Autonomy and initiative
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Bachelor's/Master's degree with experience)
Experience: 2 to 5 years preferred
Good knowledge of the industrial environment
