Methods Engineer

Assist production in compliance with customer specifications and Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery (SQCD) objectives.

Keep manufacturing records up to date.

Supporting the Lean Manufacturing approach and participating in improvement projects.

Define and validate new tooling in series production (excluding industrialization).

Manage the manufacturing and control file, including detailed ranges, work instructions, configurations, bills of materials and initial allocations.

Supporting workshops and production teams in the field.

Contribute to the training and support of operators.

Participate in client and internal audits and ensure their successful completion.

To jointly guarantee security within its scope of action.

Maintain the qualification of special processes, if applicable.

Participate in the transition from the industrialization phase to series production, and assist in risk analysis and the definition of new processes.

Participate in QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control).

Participate in and lead Lean projects, providing the necessary tools: 5S, process boards, flow, VSM, SMED, visual management, online implementation, etc.

Participate in or lead continuous improvement projects (Lean-Sigma, One Safran, etc.).

Make available the means of serial production (machines, tools, jigs) until their validation and introduction onto the line.

To train operators on the means of production.

Optimize production flows: workstations, conveyors, workshop layout.
