Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Methods Engineer to optimize our manufacturing processes and drive efficiency improvements across production workflows. The Methods Engineer will play a key role in refining techniques, streamlining production steps, and ensuring our operations align with industry standards. If you are passionate about enhancing process efficiency and supporting sustainable production, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative projects across sectors like energy, infrastructure, and general manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, develop, and optimize manufacturing methods, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to design and implement process improvements for manufacturing operations.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and cost assessments to identify areas for improvement and drive productivity.
  • Support the introduction of new products and processes by designing trials, assessing results, and implementing effective changes.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a strong focus on methods engineering or process optimization.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing process analysis, lean manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical information into actionable improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001) and industry-specific codes (EN 1090-2, ASME).
  • Proficient in CAD software and other relevant process simulation or analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of cost reduction, time management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
