Within the framework of voluntary return assistance and support projects, under the general supervision of the Protection Coordinator and the direct supervision of the SMSPS Officer, and in cooperation with relevant IOM services, the Consultant will provide operational and technical support aimed at contributing to the mental health and well-being of migrants at IOM centers through sports activities. These activities may include team sports, recreational games, and even the organization of sporting events. The specific types of sports activities will vary depending on the context, the needs of the beneficiaries, and the resources available. These activities are designed to promote physical and mental well-being, foster social interaction, and establish positive relationships among the beneficiaries.

Migrant Assistance and Protection Unit (PXD)

Tasks to be performed under this contract/u>

• Meeting and identification of migrants interested in sports activities.
• Identification and planning of sporting activities in collaboration with the transit center manager.
• Facilitation of sports activities due to a maximum of 10 hours per week in both centers.
• Provision of a brief monthly report on activities and observations.
• Working throughout the follow-up in partnership with the different actors of the centre (medico-socio-educational, psychologists, etc.) in strict respect of professional secrecy;
• evaluate and adapt activities according to needs.

• Coordination with the teams involved
• Vulnerable migrants seeking a sports activity session
• The most suitable means for the participating migrants identified
• The consultant's report, including all activities carried out, is approved and available.
• Evaluation reports of migrants participating in activities.
