Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Activities:

Perform daily routine inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery (slitting machines, extrusion lines, printing machines, laminators, winders, etc.).

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults in machines.

Calibrate and align equipment components as per operational standards.

Replace worn or defective machine parts using hand tools or power tools.

Machine Performance Monitoring:

Monitor the performance of production machines to detect irregularities.

Record and report equipment malfunctions and maintenance actions taken.

Assist in root cause analysis for recurrent machine issues.

Shutdown & Emergency Maintenance:

Participate in planned shutdowns for major maintenance and overhauls. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, spare parts used, and maintenance logs.

Update maintenance checklists and service reports as required.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

Follow all company safety protocols and ensure machines operate within safety limits.

Use proper PPE and follow lockout/tag-out procedures during maintenance.

Comply with ISO and other regulatory standards applicable in the Gulf manufacturing environment.
