Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- to study, analyze, classify and identify the structure and functions of microorganisms (viruses, fungi, bacteria, algae, etc.) as well as their relationships with the environment, their reproduction, their actions, in order to optimize their use in the manufacture of pharmaceutical products.
- Perform technical tests and microbiological analyses to identify and count microorganisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, etc.) present in various environments.
- to study the action of microorganisms and to develop ways to counteract their harmful effects or exploit their beneficial effects.
- Complete the documents relating to the batch files.
- Perform the various laboratory analysis procedures.
- Perform bacteriological checks and evaluate the performance of packaging items (tubes, P sorting boxes, bottles, leaflets, cases, etc.).
- assess the chemical and biological risks of the products used; possess good visual acuity and be able to distinguish colors.
- Carry out microbiological sampling and analysis (environmental controls, membrane filtration, microbial counts) on raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products, in accordance with procedures, in compliance with GLP and GMP.
- Prepare the analysis files within the given deadlines.
- Supply your workstation and ensure that the equipment is functioning properly.
- Alert management in case of anomalies and contribute to the resulting investigations.
- Ensure traceability of all operations carried out.
- Participate in updating procedures related to methods or equipment.
- Participate in the qualification of equipment and carry out periodic checks.
- Verify the analysis results related to its activity and update trend monitoring.
- Participate in the drafting of protocols, procedures, instruction sheets, operating procedures, raw data and safety data sheets.
- Verify the raw data from routine microbiological analyses.
- Monitoring biocontamination, controlling the production environment, and tracking changes or developments.
Desired Candidate Profile
Basic education : Bachelor's or Master's degree (2nd year) in chemistry, biology, or process engineering, or equivalent.
Professional training : GMP and GLP standards and basic concepts in metrology.
3-4 years of experience.
