Microbiologist Quality Control

Conduct routine microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, production areas, and laboratory environments to detect and control microbial contamination.
• Prepare, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments used in microbiological analysis.
• Document and report all test results accurately, maintaining detailed records in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and regulatory requirements.
• Investigate and troubleshoot out-of-specification results, deviations, and non-conformances, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in validation and qualification of microbiological methods and laboratory processes.
• Support the development and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to microbiological quality control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and research & development to resolve quality issues.
• Assist in training junior staff and new team members on microbiological techniques and safety protocols.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in microbiological testing relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
