Roles & Responsibilities
Your Impact: The Counterintelligence Operational Support Team provides Counterintelligence (CI) analysis services that includes the fusing intelligence and collecting of raw data from multiple sources and varying classifications to identify threats, trends, structures, and locations of Foreign Intelligence Entities (FIE). This includes the dissemination of time-sensitive and non-time-sensitive Force Protection (FP) threat information and assessments to supported Commanders including six (6) Air Force Central (AFCENT) forward deployed units within the CENTCOM AOR and one (1) CONUS based unit.

Desired Education: Bachelor s degree in international affairs, national security studies, Arabic studies, international business, international terrorism, trends and analysis, intelligence/counterintelligence or other related fields; Southwest Asian regional expertise.

Responsibilities:
- Identify, monitor, and assess foreign intelligence efforts attempting collection of sensitive national security information on U.S. persons, activities and interests, including threats posed by emerging technologies to U.S. operations and interests.
- Apply and train to the understanding of foreign intelligence capabilities / activities and U.S. and foreign partner CI capabilities and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for indepth analytic research and production of all-source CI studies and contributes to developing CI strategies.
- Conduct, develop, produce, and present programs of instruction in specified collection operations TTPs, and related or supporting processes, relevant to the various human intelligence and technical intelligence operations under DoD authorities.
- Ensure products are compliant with ICD and AFOSI standards and uploaded to appropriate databases.
- Maintain knowledge of host nation intelligence and security organizations.
- Maintain knowledge of third country intelligence services that pose a threat to DAF resources and the organization s personnel, and maintain knowledge of the capabilities of state sponsored, transnational, international or regional terrorist groups and their surrogates that threaten DAF security.
- Coordinate and maintain liaison relationships with military and national level agencies.
- Provide mobile training and advisory services to AFOSI units in the USCENTCOM AOR, in order to standardize analyst and agent workflow and production. Deliver improvements to the collection, processing and production intelligence cycles to unit commanders and other AFOSI leadership. Report accurate information pertaining to training and knowledge levels of personnel at field units in order to make critical and timely decisions. This will be a primary responsibility of the MTT position.
- Provide mobile training, advisory services, and act as a SME to AFOSI units in the USCENTCOM AOR supporting strategic engagements such as Defense Threat Assessment Methodology Seminars and Crime Scene Exploitation Programs.
- Travel and provide onsite and offsite support to other CONUS and OCONUS locations in the USCENTCOM AOR as requested. This position may require very frequent and/or extended length OCONUS travel depending upon mission needs.
- Maintain current passport and visa requirements and maintain the ability to be world-wide deployable to include medical clearances and other items outlined in this PWS.
- Provide Source citations to all products per ICON guidance.
- Utilize overarching governing documents including but not limited to 24 EFIS SOPs, DODI 2000.12, 3115.17, 5240.10, 5240.22, S-5240.17, S-3325.07, DODM 5240.02, DCHE-M 33001.001, DCHE-M 33001.002, and Appendix 2 to Annex B of CENTCOM and AFCENT CONOPS, AFI 71-101 V4, OSII 71-144 V1, and CCR 381-16. Deliver products that are free from grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors.
- Six (6) years of all-source analytical experience utilizing HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, or OSINT.
- One (1) year comprehensive analytical support to counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and/or HUMINT operations, ending within the last three (3) years.
- One (1 year) comprehensive analytical or operational experience to operations involving DOD National Defense Strategy priority countries including Russia, China, or Iran.
- Six (6) years of experience in the development of intelligence analysis products.
- Strong writing skills and being capable of effectively operating as a member of a combined/joint intelligence team required.
