Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The school prefers people with qualified teacher status appropriate to the teaching duties to be undertaken and experience of the IB Programme and they must be willing to work in a learning environment which is both multicultural and international. This opportunity is open to all relevantly qualified and experienced applicants, including new graduates, all nationalities and all language speakers as long as you have an excellent fluent command of the English language.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Education / Counseling or similar and qualified teacher status
Preferred experience: At least 2 years in IB
An IB teacher should be an adaptable and inspiring educator, with the ability to deliver a coherent, integrated, broad, inquiry-based programme. He/she should be an outstanding teacher, learner, motivator and communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills, and should be capable of preparing students for international programmes in a stimulating, challenging and well-organised learning environment. He/She should be able to provide professional expertise, high quality teaching and learning, make effective use of resources and ensure improved standards of learning and achievement for all students. Applicants are preferred to offer IB experience, although not essential, and must be willing to work in a learning environment which is both multicultural and international.
