Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Set up welding equipment and prepare materials by cleaning and fitting components to ensure optimal weld quality.
- Precisely interpret and execute blueprints and technical drawings to meet exact specifications for each project.
- Perform MIG welding on various metals, adjusting settings for different thicknesses and types to achieve strong joints.
- Conduct thorough inspections of welds and components, ensuring adherence to quality standards and identifying any defects.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred to ensure foundational knowledge.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or construction environment for practical expertise.
- Certifications in MIG welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) to demonstrate proficiency and commitment to quality work.
- Familiarity with welding symbols and specifications, allowing for clear communication and execution of welding tasks.
