Roles & Responsibilities

As a Social Media Executive at WPP Media, you will play a critical role in driving social excellence across client portfolios by translating brand and business objectives into impactful social strategies. Operating at the intersection of creativity, media, and data, you will be responsible for managing always-on social presence, executing campaigns, and optimizing performance through analytics-driven decision-making.

This role goes beyond publishing content; you will actively shape how brands show up within culture, conversations, and digital ecosystems. Your work will directly influence brand perception, audience engagement, and performance outcomes, contributing to broader media effectiveness and business growth.

  • Support the development and evolution of social media strategies aligned with integrated communication, media, and performance objectives.
  • Plan and execute social content calendars and campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, seasonal moments, and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day publishing across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook, and YouTube, maintaining consistency, relevance, and brand integrity.
  • Drive community management by fostering meaningful interactions, responding to audiences in a timely, brand-appropriate manner, and strengthening audience relationships.
  • Actively monitor social trends, platform updates, and cultural conversations to identify opportunities for brand participation and relevance.
  • Leverage analytics and reporting tools to evaluate content and campaign performance, extracting actionable insights to enhance engagement and effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to refine content, messaging, and platform approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (media, strategy, creative, performance, and client servicing) to ensure cohesive storytelling and channel alignment.
  • Contribute to ongoing optimization efforts by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, content performance, and audience impact.
