About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Site Manager to lead and oversee all operations at our gold processing and mining site in Shalateen. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and productive operations, managing all contractors and suppliers, and driving continuous site improvement and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all site operations, including mining, crushing, and gold processing activities.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, contractors, and suppliers to achieve daily production goals.
  • Oversee procurement, stores, inventory control, and maintenance planning.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Monitor production performance, analyze results, and implement process improvements.
  • Handle all administrative and operational reporting to head office.
  • Manage site budgets, resource allocation, and cost control.
  • Supervise site development projects and ensure timely execution.
  • Maintain discipline, teamwork, and motivation among site staff.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Mining Engineering or Geology.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in gold mining, mineral processing, or related operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability in handling suppliers, contractors, procurement, and logistics.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of mining operations, gold processing systems, and safety standards.
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site in Shalateen, Red Sea.
