Set up in 1980, Mitsubishi Electric Saudi Ltd. (MELSA) is a joint venture of Saudi Arabia-based Omar Kasim Alesayi & Co., Ltd. and Japan-based Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. The ISO 9001:2008 certified company is a leading name in the installation, maintenance, and supply of Mitsubishi Escalators, Moving Walks, and Elevators.

MELSA has maintained a broad network of several branch offices in Jeddah, Riyadh, Madinah, Makkah and Dammam, with the head office in Riyadh. Apart from its participation in the infrastructure development of Saudi Arabia, the company also operates in Yemen and Pakistan.
