Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Generative AI Professional to join our innovative team and lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge generative AI solutions. This role combines technical expertise in large language models, computer vision, and generative systems with strategic thinking to drive AI initiatives that create business value.


Key Responsibilities

Technical Development

  • Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models including LLMs, diffusion models, GANs, and VAEs for various applications
  • Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models (GPT, Claude, Llama, Stable Diffusion, etc.) for specific use cases
  • Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems and vector databases for enhanced AI applications
  • Develop and maintain AI pipelines for training, evaluation, and deployment of generative models
  • Create robust prompt engineering strategies and templates for optimal model performance

Strategic Implementation

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize generative AI use cases across the organization
  • Translate business requirements into technical AI solutions and proof of concepts
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate generative AI tools, frameworks, and platforms
  • Establish best practices for responsible AI development and deployment
  • Monitor emerging trends in generative AI and assess their potential impact on business strategy

Quality & Safety

  • Implement evaluation frameworks for model performance, accuracy, and safety
  • Design and execute testing protocols for bias detection and mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and ethical AI guidelines
  • Develop guardrails and content filtering mechanisms for production systems
  • Document model capabilities, limitations, and appropriate use cases

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Mentor junior team members on generative AI concepts and implementation
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Partner with product teams to integrate AI capabilities into customer-facing applications
  • Contribute to the organization's AI governance framework and policies

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
  • Proven track record of deploying generative AI solutions in production environments
  • Preferred Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience with generative AI and machine learning

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)
  • Experience with transformer architectures and attention mechanisms
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.) and open-source models
  • Proficiency in prompt engineering and few-shot learning techniques
  • Experience with MLOps tools and practices (MLflow, Weights & Biases, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their AI/ML services
  • Understanding of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB) and embedding models

Core Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work on ambiguous, complex challenges
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex AI concepts to diverse audiences
  • Data-driven mindset with attention to model performance metrics and business impact
  • Understanding of AI ethics, bias, and responsible AI principles
  • Experience with multimodal models combining text, image, audio, and video
  • Knowledge of reinforcement learning and RLHF techniques
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications
  • Experience with specific domains (healthcare, finance, e-commerce, etc.)
  • Familiarity with AI safety research and alignment techniques
  • Experience with edge deployment and model optimization techniques
  • Knowledge of constitutional AI and advanced prompting techniques
