Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor user-generated content across online platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and policies.
- Review, approve, or remove posts, comments, and multimedia content that violate standards or terms of service.
- Respond promptly and professionally to user inquiries, reports, and escalation requests.
- Identify and address inappropriate, offensive, or harmful behavior within the community.
- Collaborate with other moderators and team members to maintain a positive and inclusive environment.
- Document and report recurring issues, trends, and potential risks to management.
- Assist in developing and updating moderation policies and best practices.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with platform updates and emerging moderation challenges.
- Support community engagement initiatives to encourage constructive participation.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Strong understanding of online community dynamics and digital communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain impartial and objective when handling sensitive or controversial content.
- Familiarity with moderation tools, reporting systems, and content management platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle policy violations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or office-based environment.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Commitment to upholding community standards and company values.
