aboutUsLogo

MRC-NECC is a local Abu Dhabi branch of The New England Center for Children, Inc. (NECC), a world leader in autism education and research. NECC started serving children with autism and their families in 1975 near Boston, USA. We have more than 40 years of experience teaching children with autism, including more than 20 years in Abu Dhabi. MRC-NECC was established as NECC-Abu Dhabi in 2007 by a directive from H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, May God protect him. In 2018, the Center’s name was changed to the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Special Education (MRC-NECC) operated by The New England Center for Children, to recognize the contributions of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who has promoted acceptance and inclusion of people with disabilities within the UAE under his leadership.
