Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Curriculum Implementation:
Develop and deliver lessons and activities that align with Montessori methods, catering to the individual needs and interests of each child.
Foster a child-centered environment that promotes hands-on learning and self-directed exploration.
Classroom Environment:
Create and maintain a well-organized, clean, and inviting classroom environment that supports Montessori principles.
Arrange materials to encourage independent discovery and learning.
Student Development:
Observe and assess students to monitor their progress, interests, and developmental needs.
Provide individualized guidance to support academic, social, and emotional growth, encouraging self-confidence and a love for learning.
Parent Communication:
Maintain open, ongoing communication with parents about their child's progress and classroom experiences.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and provide recommendations for supporting the child s growth at home.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
Contribute to team meetings and school-wide events or initiatives.
Record Keeping:
Document student progress and achievements while maintaining accurate and confidential records.
Professional Growth:
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with Montessori practices and educational trends.
Participate in professional development opportunities offered by the school.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor s degree in Education or a related field; Montessori certification is mandatory.
Experience as a Montessori teacher or in a similar educational role is highly desirable.
Multilingual proficiency in English, Arabic, and French is an advantage.
A deep understanding of Montessori principles and child development.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for working with children and fostering a positive and enriching learning environment.
