Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We re looking for a creative storyteller who can design visually stunning, emotionally engaging, and educationally impactful content. You ll work across motion graphics, video editing, and digital design creating assets for social media, product explainers, marketing campaigns, and student-facing content.

This is a full-time, remote position working closely with our design, marketing, and product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and animate motion graphics for videos, explainers, and digital campaigns.
  • Edit and produce short-form videos for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Develop consistent visual assets (illustrations, thumbnails, banners, icons, etc.) aligned with xedu s brand.
  • Collaborate with the product and marketing teams to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals.
  • Generate creative content ideas and contribute to the overall storytelling direction.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with AI tools for content generation (e.g. Runway, Midjourney, or CapCut AI).
  • Interest in education, youth culture, or storytelling for Gen Z.
  • Ability to develop branded templates or UI animation for app interfaces.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in motion graphics, video editing, or digital design.
  • Proficiency in tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling, typography, and pacing.
  • Experience creating social media-optimized content.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing your best motion and visual design work.
