MPD Supervisor GET Global Group

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) operations at the rig site to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Monitor well pressure parameters and drilling conditions in real time to maintain proper well control.
• Ensure proper installation, testing, and operation of MPD equipment, including rotating control devices (RCD), choke manifolds, and surface equipment.
• Work closely with drilling supervisors, drilling engineers, and rig crews to implement MPD procedures during drilling operations.
• Oversee MPD crew activities and ensure compliance with company safety standards and operational guidelines.
• Monitor and control surface back pressure (SBP) and choke operations during drilling activities.
• Identify and respond to well control events, pressure fluctuations, and operational anomalies.
• Ensure accurate recording of operational data, daily reports, and technical documentation related to MPD activities.
• Coordinate with third-party service providers and equipment suppliers for proper maintenance and operation of MPD systems.
• Assist in pre-job planning, risk assessments, and safety meetings before drilling operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Support troubleshooting and technical problem-solving during drilling operations.
• Participate in post-well analysis and operational reviews to improve future MPD performance.
