Roles & Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot MPD control systems and associated equipment. Operate and troubleshoot smart choke manifolds and real-time pressure set-point systems. Calibrate and maintain pressure transducers, Coriolis flow meters, and related instrumentation. Troubleshoot PLC-based control panels, wiring systems, and electronic choke operators. Inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic circuits, manifold valves, and actuators. Support MPD operations during drilling activities and ensure equipment reliability and uptime. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MPD equipment. Follow operational, safety, and maintenance procedures in accordance with company standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven experience as an MPD Technician within oilfield drilling operations. Strong knowledge of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) systems and oilfield operations. Hands-on experience with smart choke manifolds and pressure control systems. Expertise in calibration of pressure transducers and Coriolis flow meters. Experience troubleshooting PLC-based control panels, wiring, and electronic choke operators. Good understanding of hydraulic circuits, manifold valves, and actuators. Ability to diagnose and resolve equipment failures in field environments. Previous experience working on land rigs and/or offshore drilling projects is preferred. Willingness to work in Kuwait on a long-term contract assignment.
