Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms, pricing, and quality for MRO items.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to forecast and fulfill MRO requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels of MRO supplies and initiate replenishment orders to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply chains and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
- Analyze procurement data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Prepare and review purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of MRO materials.
- Support audits and compliance initiatives by maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and value.
- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of experience in MRO procurement, supply chain, or purchasing roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid understanding of MRO materials, equipment, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cost savings and process improvements.
Desired Candidate Profile
