Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible to provide Core and Cloud domain expertise to Domain support and Automated Operations.
Ericsson EPC Competence & experienced
Daily operation & maintenance of Ericsson Packet Core Network Elements.
IPWorks (iDNS, eDNS, ENUM & AAA/Radius)
Native SGSN-MME
vSGSN
PCC-MM/cMME
Native EPG (SGW+PGW)
PCC-SM
PCG
SAPC/PCRF
AMF/SMF/PCF (5G SA) would be coming in few months
- Troubleshoot and resolve faults, degradations, and network issues related to packet core nodes.
- Collaborate with RAN, transport, and IP teams for end-to-end service delivery.
- Configuration for EPC nodes based on customer requirement.
- Document network configurations, topologies, and change management records.
- Generate and analyze network KPIs, traffic statistics, and trend reports.
- Participate in network migration and modernization projects actively alongwith Project.
- Monitor and optimize Packet Core network performance and capacity.
- Perform software upgrades and patches for core network elements.
- Ensure compliance with network security and data privacy standard
- Responsible to provide Core and Cloud domain expertise to Automation & Analytics team for development of automation/analytics use cases. Develop & maintain solutions based on automation use case candidates.
- Investigation of the possible source of problems for the automation components
- Responsible to drive recovery processes. Improve the process by performing trend analysis to proactively detect possible failures. Develop, maintain & improve automated Service Delivery methodologies
- Responsible to perform Assurance activities, including Change Introduction impact analysis, Business Requirement Impact Analysis, Support Complex Change Execution (per Functional Escalation), Change Fall Back Decision Support, Security Preventive Maintenance Definition & Coordination, KPI reporting design and definition, Event correlation and filtering definition
- Responsible to support Incident Management activities, including complex incident resolution, perform critical Incident Management Support, initiate Problem Management, initiate 3rd Level Functional Escalation, perform Security Incident Management Support, interact with suppliers and partners during Incidents Interaction and request Field Services
- Responsible to support Customer Experience Management - Customer Experience analysis and resolution
- Responsible to perform system administration, including responsibility to apply corrective and conditioning tasks (Execution or Coordination with the vendor), Database Maintenance, Support Server / Applications Interconnections, User Access management and user reconciliation.
- Responsible to perform Fulfilment activities, such as End2end Service Request, Perform Software Update/ Package FNI, Asset and Configuration Management Support, System & Application Patch Introduction, Incident/problem work around execution and removal.
- Drive Customer Experience use case configuration, testing & Validation. Report on SRF service KPIs, handle Standard Changes and Feature Implementation
- Responsible to support Analytics & Automation by identifying potential candidates for automation, support the analytics and automation team in understanding automation requirements, Perform and accept developed use cases
- Build ability to comprehend interfaces, protocols, and system parameters of other domains to diagnose interdomain issues. Interface with E2E Service Experts to act on domain findings from cross domain squad.
