Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
Requirements Analysis & Documentation:
Lead requirement-gathering sessions with finance and accounting teams.
Prepare Fit-Gap analysis and functional design documents (FDDs).
Translate business needs into functional specifications aligned with D365 capabilities.
Configuration & Implementation:
Configure core finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank.
Implement complex business scenarios such as bank reconciliations, month-end closings, and financial reporting.
Ensure configurations follow best practices and compliance standards.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Develop and execute functional test scenarios (SIT/UAT).
Lead user acceptance testing and document outcomes.
Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in coordination with technical teams.
Data Migration & Support:
Manage financial data migration from legacy systems.
Perform data validation and reconciliation checks.
Provide post-go-live support and ensure system stability.
Collaboration & Training:
Work closely with technical consultants for customizations and integrations.
Deliver end-user training sessions and prepare user manuals.
Participate in knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
3-5 years of hands-on experience with D365 Finance preferably in retail industry (Nice to Have)
Strong understanding of financial operations and accounting principles.
Experience in full-cycle ERP implementations and support.
Proficiency in tools like Lifecycle Services (LCS), Azure DevOps, and Power Platform (Good to Have)
