MSS Innovation Lead

Provide strategic leadership for the MSS Innovation Team, driving continuous improvement across the MSS Delivery teams. The Lead identifies enhancement opportunities, leads implementation for enhancement opportunities, steers research initiatives, and represents the team through internal and external talks.

Core Responsibilities:

Lead cross functional workshops with MSS delivery teams to uncover opportunities for process, tooling, and service enhancements.

Oversee research initiatives including white papers, blog articles, and conference talks on cutting edge cybersecurity topics, and ensure findings are disseminated both internally and externally.

Community engagement by guiding contributions to open source projects, technical blogs, conference presentations, and other knowledge sharing platforms.

Provide technical guidance on the MSS technology stack (XDR, SIEM, NOC operations, etc.) and enforce best practice implementation across teams.

Mentor and develop the Innovation Specialist and COOP, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.

Travel to the Dhahran office periodically to meet the team in person and collaborate on identifying improvement opportunities.

Report progress, metrics, and the impact of innovation initiatives to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. [Related cybersecurity professional certificates/licenses are a plus]

5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity or DevSecOps, preferred to be working with multiple teams.

Demonstrated expert level proficiency with SOAR platforms and advanced scripting in Bash and Python.

Collaborated with multiple teams over extended periods to identify and prioritize areas for improvement.

Proven experience mentoring specialists and COOP teammates, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing.

Skilled in containerization technologies, with deep expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.

Hands on expertise operating in multi tenant, large scale cybersecurity environments.

Strong background in Git version control and CI/CD pipeline implementation.

Experience with major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.).

Experience with Linux Administration

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

Proven capacity to balance deep technical expertise with innovation and research focused mindset.

Demonstrated history of community contributions, including GitHub projects, technical blogs, and conference presentations.

Strong collaborative aptitude, fostering effective relationships across multiple teams.

Robust project management abilities, capable of prioritizing and overseeing multiple initiatives simultaneously
