Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor drilling operations and maintain continuous records of drilling parameters
- Collect, analyze, and interpret drilling mud and cuttings samples
- Identify lithology, formation changes, and hydrocarbon shows during drilling
- Record gas levels and other geological data and report findings to the drilling and geoscience team
- Prepare daily drilling and mud logging reports accurately and on time
- Ensure all equipment used for mud logging is calibrated, maintained, and functioning correctly
- Collaborate with geologists, engineers, and drilling supervisors to optimize drilling performance
- Follow company HSE policies and ensure safe field operations
- Maintain proper documentation and logs for regulatory compliance
